Galatians 2:11-14
“11 But when Cephas came
to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was condemned. 12
For he used to eat together with Gentiles before certain people came from
James. But when they arrived, he began to hide and separate himself from the
Gentiles for fear of the circumcision group. 13 And the rest of the
Jews also joined him, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them in their
hypocrisy. 14 But when I saw that they were not walking straight in
accordance with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas, in the presence of
everyone, “If you, being a Jew, live like a Gentile, and not like a Jew, how
can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
